BRIAN T. MANSFIELD

Mr. Mansfield has been practicing law for 32 years, representing individual clients, families, businesses, associations and nonprofits in legal matters both in and out of court throughout East Tennessee and beyond. He is licensed to practice before all state and administrative courts, appellate courts, United States District (Federal) courts, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as municipal and local authorities.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1958, Mr. Mansfield attended Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga and then the University of Tennessee from which he received his bachelor’s degree with honors in 1980. He went on to attend the College of Law at the University of Tennessee, receiving his J.D. in 1983. Following law school graduation and passing the bar, Mr. Mansfield had the privilege of serving a one year Federal Judicial Clerkship for the United States Magistrate for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Mr. Mansfield began private practice in 1984 with Morgan & Garner, a prominent Chattanooga plaintiff’s firm, engaging primarily in plaintiff’s injury and general practice in Chattanooga and the surrounding region. In 1992, Mr. Mansfield opened a private solo practice in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and relocated his offices to Sevierville, the county seat, in 1996. He has continued to represent clients in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, the surrounding counties and the region for nearly 25 years.
